Join ZYZZYVA for a celebration of their newest issue, featuring readings by contributors Maddy Rakulinecz, William Brewer, Dawna Kemper, and Michael Zaken. Emceed by Managing Editor Oscar Villalon. Publishing out of San Francisco since 1985, ZYZZYVA is one of the most acclaimed literary journals in the country, long dedicated to supporting the work of the Bay Area and the West Coast's finest writers and poets.
About the Authors
Maddy Raskulinecz's stories have appeared in Guernica, 3 A.M., Diagram, and other publications. She lives in San Francisco.
William Brewer is a Stegner Fellow at Stanford and the author of the poetry collection I Know Your Kind (Milkweed), which was selected for the National Poetry Series.
Dawna Kemper's fiction has appeared in the Santa Monica Review, the Kenyon Review, Quarterly West, and other publications, and recently completed a collection of stories.
Michael Zaken is a Los Angeles writer. His story "Defects" in the Spring issue marks his first fiction in print.
